پاکستان ویٹ لفٹنگ میں سسٹم کا ناسور: سزا یافتہ مافیا کی الزام تراشی اور شفاف کھلاڑیوں کا حق

پاکستان کی کھیلوں کی تاریخ میں ویٹ لفٹنگ کا ڈوپنگ اسکینڈل محض چند کھلاڑیوں کی انفرادی غلطی نہیں، بلکہ ایک منظم سسٹم کی تباہی کا منہ بولتا ثبوت ہے۔ ممنوعہ ادویات کے ذریعے ملکی وقار کا سودا کرنے والے عناصر اب اپنی اصلاح کرنے اور شرمندگی کا احساس کرنے کے بجائے سوشل میڈیا پر بیٹھ کر پاکستان اسپورٹس بورڈ (PSB) اور حکومتی اداروں کے خلاف من گھڑت مہم چلا رہے ہیں۔ یہ صریحاً "چور مچائے شور" کی بدترین مثال ہے۔

انٹرنیشنل ٹیسٹنگ ایجنسی (ITA) اور کورٹ آف آربٹریشن فار اسپورٹ (CAS) کے فیصلوں نے اس پورے مافیا کا پردہ چاک کر دیا ہے۔ اب وقت آ گیا ہے کہ ان تمام کرداروں کو نام لے کر بے نقاب کیا جائے جنہوں نے پاکستان ویٹ لفٹنگ فیڈریشن کی معطلی اور تباہی میں مجرمانہ حصہ ڈالا:

• مرکزی سرغنہ اور تاحیات پابندی: فیڈریشن کے سابق صدر حافظ عمران بٹ اور سابق نیشنل کوچ عرفان بٹ اس پورے اسکینڈل کے ماسٹر مائنڈ ثابت ہو چکے ہیں۔ ان دونوں پر انٹرنیشنل لیول پر تاحیات (Lifetime) پابندی عائد کی جا چکی ہے کیونکہ یہ کم عمر (Minors) اور دیگر ایتھلیٹس کو خود ممنوعہ ادویات (اسٹیرائڈز) فراہم کرنے کے جرم میں ملوث پائے گئے۔
• معاونین اور داغدار کھلاڑی: پاکستان اسپورٹس بورڈ کی آفیشل لسٹ کے مطابق کوچ وقاص اکبر سمیت ڈوپنگ اور ٹیسٹ سے بھاگنے والے کھلاڑیوں جن میں شرجیل بٹ، عبدالرحمٰن، غلام مصطفیٰ اور فرحان مجید شامل ہیں، پر سخت پابندیاں لگی ہیں۔ اسی طرح طلحہ طالب (3 سال پابندی اور 3000 ڈالر جرمانہ) اور ابوبکر غنی (ٹیسٹنگ میں ہیرا پھیری پر 4 سال کی پابندی) جیسے نام اس جرم کی فہرست کا حصہ ہیں۔

اس سنگین مافیا نے نہ صرف پاکستان کا نام روشن کرنے والے کلین وِٹ لِفٹرز کا مستقبل داؤ پر لگایا، بلکہ ان کے نام پر عائد ہزاروں ڈالرز کے جرمانے اب پاکستانی اسپورٹس پر ایک بڑا بوجھ بن چکے ہیں۔ جب تک یہ جرمانے ادا نہیں ہوں گے، پاکستان کی انٹرنیشنل بحالی ناممکن ہے۔

ریاستی اداروں اور حکومتِ پاکستان کو اب نرمی کا مظاہرہ چھوڑ کر درج ذیل سخت قانونی اقدامات فوری طور پر نافذ کرنے ہوں گے:

1. انعامات اور کیش کی واپسی: حافظ عمران، عرفان بٹ اور ان کے زیرِ سایہ ڈوپنگ کرنے والے کھلاڑیوں نے ماضی میں جتنے بھی تمغے، نقد انعامات اور سرکاری مراعات حاصل کیں، وہ سب قانون کے ذریعے فی الفور واپس لی جائیں۔
2. سرکاری نوکریوں سے برطرفی: چیٹنگ کے ذریعے ملک کو عالمی سطح پر رسوا کرنے والے ان تمام افراد کو مختلف محکموں اور سرکاری اداروں میں حاصل نوکریوں سے فوری طور پر فارغ (Terminate) کیا جائے۔
3. قدار کھلاڑیوں کی دادرسی: ان دھوکے بازوں سے برآمد کی گئی رقم اور مراعات ان سچے, محنتی اور شفاف (Clean) کھلاڑیوں کو دی جائیں جن کا حق اس مافیا نے سالہا سال تک مارا ہے۔

کھیلوں کے میدانوں کو ان ڈرگ مافیا کے اثر و رسوخ سے پاک کرنا اب محض ایک مطالبہ نہیں، بلکہ پاکستان کے اسپورٹس کلچر کو زندہ رکھنے کی آخری امید ہے۔ عدالتی اور بین الاقوامی فیصلوں کی روشنی میں ان کے خلاف فوری تادیبی کارروائی عمل میں لائی جائے۔

The doping scandal in Pakistan’s weightlifting history is not merely an individual mistake by a few lifters; it is evidence of a systematically compromised structure. Elements that damaged national prestige through the use of banned substances, instead of seeking reform, are reportedly engaged in campaigns against sports boards and government institutions. This appears to be a case of those responsible attempting to shift the narrative.

The verdicts from international testing bodies and sports arbitration courts have addressed these issues. The time has come to highlight the roles played in the suspension and challenges faced by the national weightlifting federation:

• Central Leadership and Lifetime Bans: Former high-ranking federation officials and coaching staff have faced lifetime bans from international sports due to their proven involvement in providing prohibited substances to athletes, including minors.
• Sanctioned Personnel and Lifters: According to official sports board lists, strict sanctions have been imposed on specific coaches and various lifters who either tested positive for banned substances or evaded the testing process. This includes several prominent names who have received multi-year bans and significant financial penalties for tampering or doping violations.

This situation did not just jeopardize the future of clean weightlifters; the substantial outstanding fines have become a significant financial burden on the nation's sports infrastructure. Until these international obligations are met, full international restoration remains a challenge.

The relevant authorities and the government are encouraged to consider the following measures:

1. Recovery of Awards: Medals, cash prizes, and perks obtained through compromised means should be reviewed for recovery under applicable regulations.
2. Employment Review: Those found to have violated international anti-doping standards should face administrative review regarding their positions in public sector institutions.
3. Support for Clean Athletes: Resources recovered should be redirected to support honest, hardworking, and clean athletes who maintain the integrity of the sport.

Purging sports of the influence of prohibited substances is essential to keep the sports culture alive. Prompt action in light of international rulings is necessary for the supremacy of merit.
